I have never really been all that good at drawing. I think it’s because I never really saw any of my drawings as finished art... always just as a plan for a painting, sculpture, or some digital project. I have included a couple drawing projects on this page to sample my ability here, but I don’t consider it one of my stronger suits. My paintings are another story, which have always satisfied me in an unexplainable way. While most of my earlier works were based on photographs, my recent works have been mainly conceptual, while remaining strongly rooted in physical subjects. Many of my works have environmental themes.
