I made the original sketches of the triangular transports in high school, but didn’t get the opportunity to paint them out until much later. This is the first painting I made while attending San Jose State University. It is regrettably very hard to photograph, as the paint used to make the night sky was mixed heavily with linseed oil, making it very shiny. It is also difficult to make out the different colors of the stars because of the .jpg compression, which always does funny things to high contrast images. Nevertheless, I like the conceptualistic feel of this painting.
