A fairly unusual picture, taken from atop Black Bute in the Metolius river valley in central Oregon. There must have been twenty of these chipmunks running around up there, and it was quite obvious that people feed them when they reach the top. I wonder whether this chipmunk was actually admiring the view, or whether it was a coincidence that he happened to stop on this rock... I guess I’ll never know the answer to that one...
